Overview:
Shenzhen University (SZU) was founded as a public university on May 10th,1983 with the accreditation of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, and has undergone rapid growth and expansion in the past three decades just like the city of Shenzhen, China’s most successful Special Economic Zone.

SZU offers multi-level degrees with its 27 colleges, providing 86 undergraduate programs, over 100 master programs, and 9 doctoral programs. The study area at SZU ranges from philosophy, literature, economics, management, law, education, sciences and engineering, medicine, liberal art, and history. Today, SZU has become a widely recognized multi-discipline university both home and abroad and strives to be a leading innovative university with an international profile.

PEKING UNIVERSITY SHENZHEN

Overview:
Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (PKU Shenzhen), primarily focused on full-time graduate education, is an integral part of PKU’s
progression toward becoming a world-class university. PKU Shenzhen’s goal is to build a world-class international PKU campus in Shenzhen, a pioneer city leading China’s Reform and Opening-Up Policy, while adhering to the academic principles of “New Frontiers, Interdisciplinary Studies, Applied Research and International Standards.”
PKU Shenzhen is a graduate education institution comprised of eight schools: School of Electronic and Computer Engineering; School of Chemical Biology & Biotechnology; School of Environment & Energy; School of Urban Planning & Design; School of Advanced Materials (in-establishment); HSBC Business School; School of Transnational Law; and Humanities & Social Sciences.

History:
Founded in 2000, PKU Shenzhen has grown to encompass eight different academic schools and over 2,000 students. It is situated inside the University Town of Shenzhen, along with the graduate schools of Tsinghua University and the Harbin Institute of Technology. The present chancellor of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School is Dr. Wu Yundong.

SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Overview:
Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is a public university founded in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone of China. It is intended to be a top-tier international university that excels in interdisciplinary research, nurturing innovative talents and delivering new knowledge to the world.​

SHENZHEN POLYTECHNIC

Overview:
Shenzhen Polytechnic is a senior academy offering full-time courses, focusing on production, construction, management and services. It has four campuses – East Campus, West Campus, North Campus, and the Overseas Chinese Town Campus – which together occupy an area of 168 hectares, 49 hectares of which are buildings. These buildings house libraries with 1.34 million books, laboratory complexes, and other facilities. Shenzhen Polytechnic’s Industrial Training Center, for example, includes 28 training laboratories and 116 branch laboratories. In addition, the Polytechnic operates 330 off-campus practice bases.
